In most states and territories you have several options, depending on the type of doctor.

Each body will have different powers to help you. You should ask.

1. You can complain to the independent health services commission /ombudsman in your state or territory .

2. You can complain to the relevant Medical Board in your state or territory.

3. You can complain to your local branch of the Australian Medical Association (AMA) or other professional association. (Associations will take complaints about their members only.)
