ASIC (the Australian Securities and Investment Commission) has lots of information about scams on its web site and a great section called "The Pie in the Sky" Awards (was called the "Gull Awards").

A 'must-read' before you part with your hard-earned money here. You can also complain to ASIC about financial scams.

Scams and internet fraud The ACCC has a section on its web site called "Slam-a-cyberscam" here, where you can report and read about cyber ripoffs. The US FBI (in conjunction with the US National White Collar Crime Center) has a site that gives very useful information about internet fraud including the top internet fraud trends.
