The Australian Press Council (APC) This is an industry-based self regulating body that takes complaints about the content of newspapers, magazines and news reporting on the web sites of Council members.

The Council will not hear a complaint that is subject to legal action, or possible legal action, unless you are willing to sign a right of waiver first. It is advisable for you to take further advice before signing it.
